Teaching Philosophy

Noa Weinreb is an oboist, teacher, and arts administrator dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of music in every student. In her private studio, she emphasizes strong fundamentals, such as posture, air support, embouchure, and articulation, as the foundation for expressive playing. Noa fosters a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a sense of community among her students. As a performer, she is passionate about the English horn, chamber music, and recording new works for modern media. These artistic pursuits all inform her holistic approach to teaching.
